About this file
This document contains an agreement for protection of unclassified naval nuclear propulsion information and details of a related federal contract opportunity notice for surface ship support barge dismantlement and disposal. The agreement outlines requirements for contractors to protect sensitive naval information marked as containing unclassified naval nuclear propulsion data, including only using it for proposal purposes, not transmitting it outside the company without approval, and properly disposing of it if unsuccessful. The related opportunity notice announces an industry day for Navy stakeholders to discuss plans for dismantling and disposing of surface ship support barges. The event will include government presentations on scope, regulatory framework, transportation, and hazardous material characterization, followed by individual discussion sessions. Interested parties must RSVP by October 29 with attendee names and request individual sessions. This will inform a future request for proposal for dismantlement and disposal work.
