LEGENDS:
WUC = Work Unit Code D = Day N = Night
Mission Profiles:
1 = Contact Familiarization 2 = Instrument 3 = Formation
4 = Low Altitude Navigation 5 = High Altitude Navigation
NOTES:
1. Aircraft with canopy or windscreen distorted/crazed within TO limits are restricted to day dual local visual meteorological conditions (VMC) and no formation flights (Rated pilot decision).
2. Aircraft may be flown solo with discrepancies in rear cockpit which do not affect safety of flight.
3. Restricted to dual day local, dual local instrument meteorological conditions (IMC), or solo with a rated pilot for first flight when brake system has been bled due to component removal, replacement, or installation (JPPT only).
4. Restricted to local with a rated pilot for first flight when an engine is replaced with a non-Functional Check Flight
(FCF) engine (JPPT only). Aircraft with engine requiring special oil analysis surveillance and or sampling are restricted to local missions. Restricted to ferry flight, in manual mode, by rated pilot.
5. Manual mode required for all missions. Vapor cycle air conditioning not required during cool weather (rated pilot decision). Inoperative pressurization system has no flight restrictions below 25,000 feet (with supplemental oxygen).
Rated pilot decision.
6. Both Landing/Taxi lights inoperative, restricted to day local VMC (dual or solo) if no instrument or straight-in approaches are planned. Continued flight with one bulb inoperative allowable. Both strobes must operate for day and night flying.
7. For a standby magnetic compass swing required by maintenance, the aircraft is restricted to dual day local VMC or solo with a rated pilot.
8. Restricted to day local VMC for home field pattern only missions with local air traffic control approval.
9. Restricted to dual day local or solo only with a rated pilot.
10. Restricted to rated pilot if fuel auto balance system is inoperative. Single point refueling not required.
11. Restricted to flight by rated pilot.
12. Clock required in student position.
13. Restricted to day local VMC.
14. Trim Aid Device not a required subsystem. Failure does not impact flight safety.
15. VHF/UHF are redundant except when mission profile designates system specific usage.
