About this file
This is a Buy American Certificate form (FAR 52.225-2, October 2022) used to certify compliance with domestic content requirements for federal procurements. The certificate requires offerors to identify all end products as either domestic or foreign, with domestic products defined as those meeting specified domestic content thresholds. For foreign end products that do not consist wholly or predominantly of iron or steel, offerors must indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content, except for commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items. Offerors must separately list line item numbers for domestic end products containing critical components as defined in FAR Part 25.
This template is associated with a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 19, for hand cycles to be supplied to the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (Solicitation Number: 36C25926Q0352). The procurement is designated as a small business set-aside with a response deadline of April 2, 2026. The Buy American Certificate serves as the certification mechanism through which vendors must attest to the domestic content compliance of their proposed end products for evaluation by the Government in accordance with FAR Part 25 policies and procedures.
