About this file
This is a Buy American Certificate template required as a federal contracting compliance document. The certificate serves as a formal declaration from contractors affirming compliance with the Buy American Act and its provisions regarding domestic content requirements for products and materials used in federal contracts. The template is formatted for contractors to certify that end products, components, and materials incorporated into deliverables meet domestic sourcing standards, with provisions for identifying any exceptions or waivers. Contractors executing work under this solicitation for the Department of Veterans Affairs—specifically the repair and replacement of trench drains at Syracuse VA Medical Center—must complete and submit this certification as part of their proposal or contract performance documentation to verify that the materials and products supplied comply with federal domestic preference mandates.
