About this file

This document contains a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and information about an upcoming federal contract opportunity called the Research and Development Integrated Space Experiments (RISE).

The CDRL outlines requirements for computer software products to be delivered under potential task orders issued against the RISE contract. It specifies that contractors must provide appropriate data files and documentation for flight and/or ground software, including applicable test environments and platforms as well as source code. Documentation formats and delivery methods will be defined in each task order. The software and documentation must be marked and handled in accordance with export control restrictions.

The federal contract opportunity notice provides details about an Industry Day being held on August 18, 2017 to provide information on the RISE acquisition to interested parties and potential offerors. It allows companies to ask questions and provide feedback on draft requirements documents. The acquisition will be conducted by the Air Force Research Laboratory Space Vehicles Directorate for the purpose of awarding the RISE contract. Attendance at the Industry Day is not required to later submit a proposal if a solicitation is released.
