This memorandum provides Amendment 0002 to Request for Proposal FA8730-19-R-0005 for the Force Protection Site Security Systems Solutions (FPS4) contract. Request for Proposal (RFP) FPS4 Amendment 0002 to extend Proposal Due date. The Government is continuing to work towards issuance of a RFP amendment as indicated in posted Q&As, as soon as possible. We are planning to issue the amendment in mid-to-late August. The Government will ensure all Offerors are provided adequate time to provide proposals after issuance of the amendment.

SUBJECT: Request for Proposal (RFP) Force Protection Site Security Systems Solutions (FPS4) Amendment 0002, Solicitation Number FA8730-19-R-0005 0002

1. The purpose of this letter is to provide potential Offerors with Amendment 0002 to the FPS4 Solicitation FA8730-19-R-0005. Award will be based on a proposal that conforms to the solicitation, as amended, and on an assessment of the evaluation criteria described in the Evaluation Factors for Award (Section M) of the RFP.

2. Offerors are advised to submit proposals in accordance with Section L, Instructions for Proposal Preparation. This solicitation amendment extends the proposal submission date. Accordingly, your entire proposal is now due no later than 1400 EST on 26 August 2019 in accordance with FAR

15.208. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to verify receipt of their proposal.

3. Offerors are advised to acknowledge receipt of any and all amendments to the subject solicitation by completing Block 14 on the RFP Standard Form 33 cover page with their proposal submission.

4. All questions regarding this Amendment 0002, or the acquisition which it describes, are to be directed exclusively to Ms. Ashley Martin, Contracting Specialist, at ashley.martin.17@us.af.mil and Lt Ryan Poortinga, Contracting Specialist, at ryan.poortinga@us.af.mil or Ms. Tanya Bigelow, Contracting Officer, at tanya.bigelow@us.af.mil.
