Q: AOI 008—Does the KC-135 lighting statement refer to 8 lights total or does it refer to 8 red for night and 8 white for day, making the total 16?
A: Currently there are only 8 white bulbs in the cargo compartment. There isn’t any adjustment that can be made for nighttime operations. We are looking to have the ability to brighten the aircraft during daytime and have red lights for nighttime operation.
