About this file
This document outlines a commercial solutions opening conducted by the 82nd Contracting Squadron at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The 82nd Contracting Squadron seeks an integrated project management and tracking solution to provide secure, individualized tracking of contract requirements for both internal and external customers. The desired end-state is a web-based system that eliminates redundant data entry, draws information from existing contracting systems, and features user-friendly status pages with email/text notifications. The solution should integrate with the 82nd's website and allow for customized reports and a map view of multiple customer requirements. Offerors should provide solutions priced under $30,000, though proposals above that amount will also be considered. Proposals must be submitted no later than 1500 EST on March 13, 2020 to be evaluated.

AOI 014 Title: 82d Contracting Squadron
TECHNOLOGY AREA(S): Management Information Systems/Business Information Systems integration
DESCRIPTION: The 82d Contracting squadron is a diverse team of mission-focused business leaders that provide agile purchasing support to two large, hands-on, technical and pilot training missions. In order to provide leading-edge support and continuously improve our relationships with our mission partners, we present the following challenge and opportunity for a tailored commercial solution:
Problem Statement:
The 82d Contracting Squadron does not have a streamlined, easily accessible method to provide customers a status on the progress of their particular requirements. Currently, status is manually input by the contract specialist into a SharePoint site that is accessed by the customer and they have to sort through a list of items to find their requirement.
Current contracting workflow requires data entry into several Common Access Card protected existing software systems (CON-IT, KT-Fileshare, FPDS-NG, etc.) to complete purchases and input redundant data into status systems to keep both internal and external customers informed of progress.
Desired End-state:
A secure, Individualized, tracking number driven, web-based project management and tracking solution with a status view that eliminates redundant data entry by drawing from available data in existing contracting and file systems.
The ideal solution will provide:
Common Access Card enabled security
A Simple, user-friendly, visually appealing status page i.e. systems in-use by Fedex, Amazon, USPS, UPS, etc.
Internal user (contracting) selectable options for status display bar or milestone length depending on acquisition type.
Permission-based data access with customizable reports for both internal and external users
Opt-in email and text-message status change notifications
Integration with 82cons.com (our existing commercial website)
A map view with hyperlinked pop-ups for customers with multiple ongoing requirements
A customer populated option to let the contracting officer know that the item has been delivered/received.
**The closing date/time for this particular AOI will be 1500 EST on 13 March 2020.**
