Questions and Responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) Question and Answer 21 – 23
These are responses to questions the Government has received in response to the RFP. These are not all the received questions. As responses become available to be published, the Government will add them to www.FBO.gov until all questions are responded to. Questions from the Request for Information, Industry Day, and Draft RFP have already been posted on the previous Question and Response documents.
Question 21: The Pricing Model (Attachment 4) has a quantity of 25 IMS for Year 1 (6-month “year”) and 50 IMS for Years 2-5. That is a total of 225 IMS (25+(4*50)). However, CLIN 0002 in Section B (IMS Flight Instruction Base Period) shows a Quantity of 250.
Answer 21: The Government will issue an amendment early next week revising the Quantity on CLIN 0002 in Section B to 225.
Question 22: Please clarify if you want Section B CLIN tables filled out and submitted in Volume III per Section L 4.1.d or if the submission of the electronic Pricing Model (Attachment
4) satisfies this requirement?
Answer 22: Offerors will only need to input pricing into the Pricing Model per Section L 4.6.
Question 23: When prices are inputted into the government-provided Pricing Model (Attachment 4), the evaluated prices in the Base Period Years 2-5 (Total CLIN Summary tab) aren’t getting pulled over into the Summary by Period tab’s Base Period cell (cell C5). Year 1 is being pulled in, but not the other four years of the Base Period.
Answer 23: The Government will issue an amendment early next week that will correct the equation in the pricing model to properly calculate and display cost in the Summary by Period tab.
