36th Rescue Flight MX Site Visit Mission Brief

Mission Contract MX Battle Rhythm Challenges Significant Accomplishments
Outline
The mission of the 36th Rescue Flight is to support the 336th Training Group in the execution of all AETC SERE syllabi and provide evacuation of injured DoD personnel from remote training areas.
MISSION STATEMENT
Executes 1,512 flying hours/year Maintains MEDEVAC alert 250 days/year at Cusick, WA in support of initial SERE students (approx 50-60 days/person) Conducts day and night vector training 100 days/year for S-V80 students Conducts combat search and rescue demonstrations 74 days/year Flies aggression sorties 150 days/year, creating realistic evasion environment Flies 100 Jump missions per year Supports 6 TDYs for SERE Specialist training 30 days/year in WA and OR Conducts average of 10 SAVES/year (3 X mil, 7 X civ)
