SITE VISIT and PRE-PREPOSAL CONFERENCE
INVITATION
Prospective offerors are invited to attend a Site Visit and Pre-Proposal Conference for the Fairchild Aircraft
Maintenance requirement scheduled for 17 Apr 13 at Fairchild AFB. Each company may send up to three (3) representatives identified in advance as instructed below. The agenda for the day is listed below and may be adjusted, based upon completion of scheduled activities.
REQUIRED INFORMATION
Pre-registration is mandatory. Each offeror must submit the following information for each attendee to Liz
Preston at elizabeth.preston@us.af.mil, Michelle Spencer at belinda.spencer@us.af.mil, and Antoinette Davis at antoinette.davis.1@us.af.mil no later than 15 Apr 13:

Security Forces personnel may conduct a background check of each attendee before granting base access. The
Government is not responsible if an attendee is denied access to the base. Ensure each attendee has a government or state issued picture identification card.
LOCATION
Fairchild AFB is located approximately 10 miles southwest of Spokane Washington. Fairchild AFB is located off
Highway 2 about 3 miles west of Airway Heights. The turnoff to the main gate is well marked with signs.
The Spokane International Airport is the commercial airport servicing Fairchild AFB. Fairchild AFB is located approximately 6 miles from the airport.
OBTAINING BASE ACCESS
The main gate is open 24 hours. Pass & Registration is located in the visitor’s center.
a. Individual Access. Each individual will need to obtain a visitors pass from the Base Visitors Center.
b. Bus will be provided to ferry offerors from visitor center to contract site locations. All visitors must be at the main gate between 7:00 – 7:45 a.m. to be transported to the conference room.

*This is a tentative agenda and times are subject to change.
**The bus will stop for lunch at The Ram Drive-In (burger joint) in Chattaroy, WA.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE
Prior to conducting the site visit, a Teleconference will be held in the Conference Room in Bldg 2036, Rm 124.
Offerors are encouraged to submit written questions to Liz Preston at elizabeth.preston@us.af.mil, Michelle Spencer at belinda.spencer@us.af.mil, and Antoinette Davis at antoinette.davis.1@us.af.mil no later than 5:00 p.m. (CST) on
15 Apr 13 so the Government can provide an adequate response.
No questions will be officially answered during the site visit. Industry is requested to submit their questions in writing to Michelle Spencer and Antoinette Davis. The Government will not be liable for verbal responses given as to avoid misinterpretation. The Government will provide written responses to each written question received via
RFP Amendments. Questions and answers will be posted to the FBO website at www.fbo.gov.
ONE ON ONE SESSIONS
Offerors that attend the site visit may sign up for One-On-One sessions with the Government team during registration. Sessions will be held via telephone conferencing on 19 Apr 13 and limited to 15 minutes each.
Offerors will be contacted via e-mail on 18 Apr 13 with confirmation of their One-on-One session, as well as instructions for dialing in to the session. Offerors are encouraged to submit their questions following the completion of the site visit so the Government can provide an official response. The Government will not be liable for verbal responses given as to avoid misinterpretation. The Government will provide a written response to each written question received via RFP Amendments. Questions and answers will be posted to the FBO website at www.fbo.gov.
OTHER INFORMATION
For planning purposes, certain facilities may not allow visitors to bring phones, watches, and/or keyless car remotes inside the facility. Please plan accordingly. The Government will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
