About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to solicitation FA2521-22-B-0002 for the renovation of Facility 35420 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The solicitation involves replacing interior lighting, adding electric motors to garage doors, modifying interior and exterior buildings, installing an air-conditioned rotary air compressor with sound mitigation, and providing a 20'x20' air-conditioned office. Questions addressed include clarification that a fire hydrant and backflow preventer shown on drawings are not part of the project scope, confirmation that metal wall panels between the eave and soffit need replacement, and determination that ADA heel requirements do not apply to the storage mezzanine stairs. The document also provides responses regarding the need for an experience matrix given project complexity and whether surveys have been conducted for asbestos, lead, or PCBs at the facility.
