About this file

This document is a Project Coordination attachment for a construction project at Ellington Air Force Base (AFB) in Houston, Texas, dated 21 May 2024. The document outlines comprehensive coordination requirements for contractors, including detailed protocols for project meetings, site examination, utility management, and work sequencing. Key requirements include scheduling a preconstruction conference, conducting bi-weekly progress meetings, providing weekly photographic documentation of the project, and maintaining continuous operation of existing base facilities during construction.

The attachment emphasizes strict coordination with the Project Manager, who will oversee various aspects of the project, including work schedule, utility service interruptions, and site modifications. Contractors must submit a Statement of Qualification for land surveyors or civil engineers, preserve existing site control points, and obtain prior authorization for cutting, fitting, or altering existing structures. The document mandates careful examination of existing site conditions, protection of underground facilities, and meticulous documentation of all project phases, with digital images to be delivered on compact discs or through an electronic system, labeled with project details and date.
