About this file
This is a method of approach summary prepared by PPG Traffic Solutions Ennis-Flint, Inc. for the State of Arizona Department of Transportation in response to solicitation BPM005719 for bulk thermoplastic and thermoplastic preformed pavement markings. The document addresses two key departmental requests regarding the company's approach to meeting contract requirements. The solicitation does not require submission of a price list for bulk thermoplastic items. PPG Traffic Solutions has confirmed its capacity to service all products needed by the State of Arizona, including state and political subdivision requirements, and has committed to prioritizing the State of Arizona in the event of raw material supply interruptions.
The company proposes to maintain adequate production capacity to meet delivery timeframes specified in the solicitation and has established mitigation strategies for potential long lead times on materials. No specific pricing terms, award dates, contract duration, or renewal options are detailed in this summary document. The response was submitted on December 12, 2023, following a December 4, 2023 call between the company and the State of Arizona to clarify solicitation requirements.
