About this file
This document is a scope definition matrix for the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) Enterprise Payment System, detailing multiple applications and systems that interface with the planned DEPS (DCYF Enterprise Payment Solution). The matrix outlines current state systems, their owners, DEPS scope status, payment stages, and interface relationships across Child Welfare (CW), Early Learning (EL), Administrative (Admin), and Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) programs.
The matrix identifies over 30 interconnected systems and applications, with key systems including AFRS (Agency Financial Reporting System), Barcode, CARS (Collections and Accounts Receivable System), FamLink/CCWIS, and SSPS (Social Service Payment System). Many systems are marked for interface with Workday, which will replace AFRS as part of the state's OneWA modernization initiative. The document shows extensive integration requirements between state agencies including DCYF, DSHS, OFM, and DOR, with systems handling various payment stages from service authorization through reconciliation. Several systems are marked as "Will be in DEPS," indicating planned incorporation into the new enterprise payment solution.
