About this file
This document is a De-Installation / Installation Checklist for the L3 Implant Sciences QSB220 screening equipment used by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The comprehensive checklist provides detailed guidance for technicians performing equipment de-installation and installation, covering multiple critical evaluation criteria including inventory verification, unit condition assessment, functionality testing, cleaning procedures, and packaging requirements.
The checklist outlines specific steps for documenting equipment status, including visual inspections, photographic documentation of serial numbers, barcodes, unit conditions, and packaging. Key requirements include using Isopropyl Alcohol Wipes for cleaning, packaging the equipment in a specific 26L x 24W x 22H triple wall fiberboard box with a foam insert and an electrostatic discharge bag, and ensuring proper labeling. The document is associated with the TSA's Screening Equipment Deployment Services (SEDS) - Checkpoint contract, which is anticipated to have its full Request for Proposals released in Q1 or Q2 of FY26.
