About this file

This document is a contractor acceptance inspection checklist for battery replacement projects at federal navigation facilities. The checklist specifies verification requirements for new battery system components including batteries, cables, racks, monitors, spill containment, ventilation equipment, and documentation. It also lists service test procedures and baseline data collection needs covering float voltages, resistance measurements, temperature readings, and more. Signatures are required from the facility representative and contractor representative to confirm inspection results and note any necessary action items.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration seeking battery system equipment and replacement services for its GNAS navigation sites. Services requested include equipment installation, commissioning, disposal, and maintenance support.
