About this file

The document is a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standard form 52.225-2 Buy American Certificate, dated February 2021. This certification requires offerors to declare whether their end products are domestic or foreign, listing any foreign end products by line item and country of origin. The certificate is part of a solicitation for the Department of Veterans Affairs Northport VA Medical Center project 632-15-101 to replace the primary electrical distribution system, with the key requirement being that offerors must specify the domestic status of their products and identify any foreign-sourced items. The government will evaluate offers in accordance with FAR Part 25 policies, which typically provide preferences for domestic products and manufacturers.
