About this file
This Data Item Description provides the format and content requirements for Engineering Data for Provisioning to be delivered under contracts containing a provisioning requirement. Engineering Data for Provisioning is the technical data used to initially provision maintenance support resources, and must identify dimensional, material, mechanical, electrical, and other characteristics of items adequate for provisioning of supported end items. The data must be in GEIA-STD-0007 format or the contractor's format as specified in the contract, and include technical identification of items for maintenance support consideration, preparation of item identification for National Stock Number assignment, item review for entry control and standardization, review for interchangeability and substitutability, item management coding, preparation of allowance and issue lists, and source, maintenance, and recoverability coding.
Solicitation Number N00024-20-R-4205 is seeking proposals for a Planning Yard contract to provide operational support for LPD-17, LHD-1, LHA-6, LSD-41/49, and LCC-19 class ships.
