About this file
This document contains preparation instructions for shipment and storage of military equipment as well as details for a federal contract solicitation for water storage distribution systems. The preparation instructions provide guidelines for formatting, required content, and procedures for preservation processing of military vehicles and systems at different protection levels for domestic and overseas shipment and storage. The federal contract solicitation is for the U.S. Army to procure the integration, assembly, and logistics packages for up to 123 water storage distribution systems with various tank capacities. The Army intends to award five IDIQ contracts for testing pump assemblies, with the test results used to downselect to a single contractor for production orders, logistics products, and potential spare pumps. The resulting IDIQ contracts will have a five-year firm fixed price term with two optional ordering years. This procurement is set aside for small businesses.
