4. Describe your process for analyzing, tracking and communicating legislative activities for issues of interest to clients.
Molera Alvarez utilizes online tracking software and leverages our extensive network of legislative relationships to know of issues as they are introduced and prior. We begin our efforts on behalf of clients by outlining issues in advance of the legislative sessions and laying groundwork with key stakeholders, including developing support coalitions. Once issues have been identified our team monitors all introduced legislation and messaging for relevance and viability. At the end of any given week our team will provide a report detailing the context on the entire legislative ecosystem, a copy of the tracking list for the bills introduced, and details on actions taken on the client’s behalf that week. When necessary, our team will engage clients directly with strategy meetings to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded approach to any issue facing the client.
5. Describe your process for briefing clients on legislative and other relevant updates in real time.
Offeror Response:
On an intraweek basis our team keeps clients abreast of conversations with email, text, and phone call conversations as necessary. On the legislation that we are engaging directly on, our team communicates with a client more often with text updates on committee hearings and floor votes, and phone calls to supplement context as needed. When more exhaustive information is needed our team leans more toward email communication for more nuanced and descriptive information over text messages. On any specific piece of legislation, that may be having a committee or floor hearing, our team will notify in advance on the weekly report where we know ahead of time, but should anything instantaneously arrive our team will have someone present in the room giving up to the moment updates via text and a phone call following up when necessary. Supplementing our team physically present is at least one other team member watching the hearing remotely ready to follow up with documentation, stream recordings, or other requisite context.
