Distribution of the LPDS includes the Logistics Manager, Weapon System Manager, and contracting officers.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Special Notice providing draft documents for Section C (Scope of Work), attachments, and CDRLs for the Family of All Terrain Cranes contract. 16. REMARKS
The contractor shall develop and provide a Logistics Product Data Summary (LPDS) as stated and outlined in section C.3.2 in the
Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall deliver the LPDS in an electronic format to the Government for review and acceptance. Delivery of the LPDS may be in a Microsoft format.
If the data within the LPDS is insufficient for the Government’s requirement, the Government has the right to review, reject, and request further LPDS data.
The LPDS data is a collective substitute of all logistics data that is not captured within the PSA and LSA deliverables as per SOW sections C.3.1 and C.3.2, but of imperative importance, and relates to the development of the PSA as well as the LSA. The LPDS data is required by the Government in order to capture supplemental Product Support and Logistics Support data requirements.
The LPDS data may be provided to the Government incrementally or as required by the Government.
The LPDS data will be stored in the LPDS repository for the Type I FOATC.
