About this file

This document is a Sources Sought notice for a potential co-brand agreement between commercial manufacturers and the AbilityOne Program, which provides employment for people who are blind or severely disabled. The notice seeks manufacturers of floor stripper, floor cleaner, floor buffer, and floor polish products that meet or exceed federal standards and requirements.

The key details include: the required product assortment and NSNs, salient characteristics the proposed products must meet, sustainable product requirements such as USDA BioPreferred certification, and manufacturer qualifications such as a nationally known brand name, commitment to work with the AbilityOne Program, and willingness to provide technical support and deliver bulk materials. The deadline for responses is 30 days from the date of publication. Preference will be given to manufacturers with a dedicated federal government sales and marketing team. The goal is to expand the AbilityOne Program's line of floor care products to increase employment opportunities for people who are blind or severely disabled.
