About this file

This document is a Sources Sought notice for a potential co-brand agreement between the U.S. AbilityOne Commission and U.S. commercial manufacturers of floor care products including stripper, cleaner, buffer, and polish. The goal is to provide employment opportunities for people who are blind or severely disabled by adding these products to the AbilityOne Procurement List under a co-brand agreement.

The key requirements are that the proposed products must meet specified National Stock Numbers, conform to FAR and other federal standards, be USDA BioPreferred certified, and meet industry performance specifications. Manufacturers must have a nationally recognized brand, demonstrate the ability to assist the AbilityOne nonprofit agency to expand its product line and increase blind work hours, and be willing to provide technical support and enter a multi-year agreement. Responses are due within 30 days and should be directed to the email address provided. The U.S. AbilityOne Commission, a civilian federal agency, is overseeing this sources sought notice.
