About this file
This document is a Sources Sought notice for a potential co-brand agreement between the U.S. AbilityOne Commission and U.S. commercial manufacturers of floor care products, including floor stripper, floor cleaner, floor buffer, and floor polish. The purpose is to provide employment opportunities for people who are blind or severely disabled under the AbilityOne program.
The notice outlines the required product assortment and salient characteristics, sustainability requirements, and manufacturer qualifications. Specifically, the products must conform to listed National Stock Numbers, meet federal standards, and be certified to certain ecolabels. Manufacturers must have a nationally recognized brand, demonstrate the ability to assist the AbilityOne nonprofit agency, and be willing to provide technical support and partner on marketing to federal government customers. Responses are due within 30 days, and the Commission will evaluate submissions to potentially establish a multi-year co-brand agreement.
