About this file

This document is a Sources Sought notice for a Co-Brand Agreement for Floor Stripper, Floor Cleaner, Floor Buffer, and Floor Polish. The AbilityOne Program, administered by the U.S. AbilityOne Commission, is seeking partnerships with U.S. commercial manufacturers of these products to provide employment opportunities for people who are blind or severely disabled.

The key requirements include that the proposed products must conform to the listed National Stock Numbers, meet or exceed FAR and other federal standards, be USDA BioPreferred certified where applicable, and be certified to specific ecolabels. Manufacturers must have a nationally known brand, demonstrate how they can assist the nonprofit agency to expand its product line and increase blind work hours, be willing to provide technical support and deliver bulk materials, and work with the AbilityOne Program to ensure fair and reasonable pricing. Responses are due within 30 days, and preference will be given to manufacturers with a dedicated federal sales and marketing team.
