About this file

This document is a Sources Sought notice for a potential co-brand agreement between the U.S. AbilityOne Commission and U.S. commercial manufacturers of floor care products including floor stripper, floor cleaner, floor buffer, and floor polish. The goal is to provide employment opportunities for people who are blind or severely disabled by adding these products to the AbilityOne Procurement List under a co-brand agreement.

The key requirements are that the proposed products must conform to the listed NSNs and salient characteristics, meet or exceed FAR and other federal standards, be sustainable and certified to certain eco-labels, and demonstrate industry performance specifications. Manufacturers must possess a nationally or industry known brand, be willing to provide technical and production assistance, and work with the AbilityOne Program to ensure fair and reasonable pricing. Manufacturer submissions should indicate which functions the nonprofit agency's employees would perform. The response deadline is 30 days from the date of publication.
