About this file
This document is a Sources Sought notice for a potential co-brand agreement between the AbilityOne Program and commercial manufacturers of floor care products, including floor stripper, floor cleaner, floor buffer, and floor polish. The AbilityOne Program is seeking manufacturers with nationally recognized brand names and the ability to provide technical support, bulk material delivery, and assistance in transitioning production to a nonprofit agency to create employment opportunities for people who are blind or severely disabled.
The key requirements include conforming to listed National Stock Numbers and Item Purchase Descriptions, meeting FAR and other federal standards, being USDA BioPreferred certified where applicable, and being certified to specified ecolabels to avoid intentionally added PFAS. Manufacturers must demonstrate a commitment to working with the AbilityOne Program, possess federal sales expertise, and be willing to price products fairly. Responses are due within 30 days of the notice publication, and the contract opportunity is being managed by the AbilityOne Program.
