The amendment extends the proposal due date to 14 Nov 2025 and updates multiple attachments, including the Project Schedule, Statement of Work, Construction Drawings, and Door Schedule. The amendment includes detailed responses to 12 vendor questions covering various project specifics, such as bathroom renovation requirements, door hardware, bench materials, and CLIN (Contract Line Item Number) clarifications. Key updates include: contractors must install new bathroom accessories (toilet paper holders, mirrors, grab bars, etc.), use thermoplastic-coated metal courtyard benches, and follow the updated door schedule for hardware installation. All offerors are required to submit pricing using the government-furnished bid schedule attachment, and the project is a firm fixed-price lump-sum award.

G. Answers to the following questions are as follows:
1. Regarding Q/A 86: Will restrooms receive acoustic ceilings or gypsum ceilings? Response: No” Question ‐ Does this mean no ceiling work is required? If required, does the existing ceiling require demolition, and is the new ceiling acoustic or gypsum?"?
Response: The bathrooms that will be demolished on sheet D101 will not be reconstructed. The ceiling plan for these two bathrooms is shown on plan A102. The other bathrooms have gypsum ceilings. The only ceiling requirement for the remaining bathrooms is a level 4 finish and paint.
2. Regarding Q/A 37: SOW O. Bathrooms says to supply faucets, toilets, urinals and partitions. This does not say anything about bathroom accessories. Would you like contractors to price tp holder, soap dispenser, paper towel dispenser, grab bars, mirrors etc? if yes, please provide a list per bathroom and sizes of grab bars. Response: Not at this time. Grab bars are to be sized the same as existing.
Question: Do we remove and reinstall all of the existing toilet accessories? Are new grab bars required?
Response: For ease and less confusion, Contractor shall install all new accessories in the bathrooms with like products and quantity. These include toilet paper holder, paper towel holders, trash cans, changing station, soap dispensers, faucets, toilets, urinals, partitions, and mirrors. The grab bars shall be ADA/ABA compliant. All of these items will be sorted out during the submittal phase. Also included in the bathroom renovations is new flooring, casework, sinks, wall protection of gypsum walls only, and paint. See updated SOW for list and quantities of bathroom accessories. These should be priced in CLIN 022.
3. Door questions in reference to the door schedule and Plan Sheet A121. Opening 302 is listed twice on the door schedule. Please clarify.
Do treatment rooms 403, 404, 405 get the doors replaced as well? These rooms on the as‐builts A‐ 18 don’t have door openings for them.
Where is opening 412A?
Where is opening 412B?
Where is opening 313?
Opening 602 listed on the door schedule 4 times, please advise. Assuming 602, 603, 605, & 606.
As Built A‐18 calls 501 the opening between C4 & C7, but the plans A121 show this to be a different opening. Please advise which is correct.
Response: See Revised Door Schedule.
4. Suggest listing all openings that are being replaced on plan A121. Lots of confusion on opening schedule and plan sheet A121, and going back to as‐builts A‐18.
Response: Created a new drawing of all the doors. See Attachment 5.13 Kyle EOC Modernization All Doors – Combined. The previous notes still pertain.
5. What CLIN should the cost of the bathroom demolition of the tile walls and floors be allotted to?
Response: CLIN 022
6. What CLIN should the materials and installation of the new tile for the floor and walls be allotted to?"
Response: CLIN 022
7. With the latest version of the bid schedule, can contractors provide their own bid schedule/estimate instead of the Government‐furnished bid schedule, since this project will be a lump‐sum award (Firm Fixed Price)? The current bid schedule is confusing to vendors and subcontractors and may confuse submitted pricing. Some items are still not identified and may have unbalanced pricing on the bid schedule.
Response: All offerors shall submit pricing breakout on the same required attachment.
8. Benches: Still not clarified. Should these be wood, thermoplastic‐coated, concrete, or metal?
Response: Thermoplastic‐coated metal courtyard benches.
9. The door and hardware schedule lists both Falcon locks and panic bars on all openings.
Please let us know, since we are not sure how to install a panic bar and lock on each door.
Response: Refer to the updated door schedule. Locks and panic hardware are not required on all openings. The remarks provided were general guidelines to help the contractor understand the type of hardware we are standardizing throughout the facility. The contractor is responsible for installing hardware that matches the existing operations, unless otherwise specified.
10. Price schedule CLIN 008 lists 37 for quantity, but when you add up the wood doors, it comes out to
39. Please advise.
Response: Refer to the updated door schedule and new drawing attachment 5.13.
11. Price schedule CLIN 009 lists 7 for quantity, but when we add up the steel doors, it comes out to 4.
12. Please clarify which aluminum openings are for which CLIN.
CLIN 010 is for Openings 408, 409, 1101, & 1102?
CLIN 011 is for Openings 703, 901, 1003, & 1005?
CLIN 012 is for Openings 101, 102, 103, & 104?
What CLIN is for Opening 1701, I1, 301, 302B & 302?
