About this file
This is a Measurement and Payment specification document for the 124 Easton Road Demolition project in Pennsylvania (Contract 25-01189.01). The document establishes the procedures and standards for measuring and paying for demolition work, including the removal of the Shelby Apartments building at 111-124 Easton Road, associated concrete patios, asphalt parking lot, and environmental remediation within the structure. The specification outlines measurement methodologies for various demolition activities, material removal, site restoration to match existing grading, and site stabilization requirements. Payment is structured based on completed work items measured according to specified standards, with compensation tied to the actual quantities of work performed and materials removed as verified by project inspection and measurement protocols.
The payment terms are contingent upon proper documentation and verification of completed work according to the measurement standards outlined in the specification. The document establishes the framework for contractor compensation based on unit prices or lump sum amounts for identified work items, ensuring that payment corresponds directly to measurable completion of demolition, environmental remediation, and site restoration activities. All payment is subject to compliance with measurement verification procedures and project specifications to ensure work quality and scope completion prior to final compensation.
