About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Form containing pre-proposal inquiries submitted by D Square Construction LLC regarding a federal construction solicitation. The inquiries were submitted on 02/13/26 by Dennis Driskill (520-748-9371) and address both solicitation evaluation factors and statement of work technical data.
The RFI covers nine substantive questions regarding project execution requirements: clarification on removal of existing roof penetrations and how far below the roof deck pipe and conduit terminations should extend; confirmation of crane location and dumpster placement in the Cantina parking lot; clarification on whether existing light packs and electrical outlets should be retained or replaced, with procedures for defective items discovered during construction; confirmation that the roof hatch on Building B647 cannot be used and approval of a temporary bridge design; requirements for protecting the eastside doors to Building B647 with a covered walkway during business hours; availability of temporary egress points for roof access; procedures for temporarily replacing mechanical or electrical equipment removed during business hours; and whether temporary HEPA covering or other measures are permitted for roofing work afterhours. All pre-proposal inquiries must be submitted via email to alex.arter@va.gov using an editable form, with telephone requests not accepted.
