About this file
This document is a Report of Internal Condition of Sprinkler Piping for a Five-Year Internal Obstruction Inspection performed at the Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital located at 975 Kirman Ave., Reno, Nevada. The inspection was conducted on 07-20-2020 for a small approximately 2,000 square foot computer and electrical room area with a pre-action sprinkler system. The inspection results were positive, with no micro-biologically induced corrosion or non-biological obstructions found during the examination. The service fitter, Rich Bowman, opened a grooved coupling at the top of the riser and removed a sprinkler head from inside the electrical/riser room, noting that the Fire Department Connection (FDC) was previously inspected during the five-year inspection and the pre-action system is tied into the floor's sprinkler system.
