About this file
This document contains an Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) template and details for a federal construction contract opportunity to replace cooling towers at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pennsylvania. The ICRA outlines four construction activity risk groups and associated requirements to minimize infection risk during work. The federal contract opportunity will be a best value two-phase design-build solicitation for a $2-5 million project. Only Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses will be eligible to participate in Phase I. Phase II will evaluate proposals to select a prime contractor to partner with an engineering firm to complete remaining design work and construct the cooling tower replacement. The solicitation is expected to be released on February 21, 2020 with a 455-day period of performance.
