About this file
This is an access guide for ProductivityNOW eLearning that provides step-by-step instructions for granting external contractors access to complete Autodesk Build Construction management required training. The guide outlines the process beginning with contract award, requiring contractors to request access in writing to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) no later than 14 days after contract award. Contractors must provide staff names and email addresses. The COR then grants access with a mandatory expiration date set to 12 calendar days and assigns Autodesk training courses to the requested staff members. The system permits a maximum of 52 external users for the entire VISN (Veterans Integrated Service Network), and access to ProductivityNOW is separate from access to Autodesk Build.
The guide includes detailed procedural instructions for both granting external access and assigning training. For access, users log into ProductivityNOW, navigate to the VISN 2 Contractors Group, go to Members, and select "Invite External Members," where they fill in the staff member's name and email, mark the membership expiration checkbox, set the expiration date, and send the invitation. An automated email is then sent to the external person with platform access and login instructions. For training assignment, the COR accesses the VISN 2 Contractors Group, goes to Assets, selects "Assign Learning," checks the option to assign a due date, selects the appropriate training courses (such as Autodesk Build Fundamentals or VISN 2 Build Implementation User Training), specifies the due date, selects the member names, and saves the assignment. The member is then notified and the assigned trainings appear on their main course page. Upon completion, contractors must submit training completion certificates or competency memos to the COR.
