1 There is (1) existing steam line and (2) existing vent lines that run under the existing elevated walk way in B30 - they are not shown to be relocated on the drawings. Please confirm what is to be done with existing lines.

4/8/2019 A field survey will be completed to fully understand location and routing of existing steam and vent lines. Demo and new construction drawings will be modified as necessary.

On MDO-100, we are to demo chilled water, steam and condensate down through the floor. On MHO-100, we are rerouting those same lines down through the floor in a different location. It is unclear if we are core drilling 4 new holes, and what is exactly underneath, as it will be pretty messy, and work will need to be performed below to reconnect the lines from the demo point. The demo drawing only shows one demo point, when actually it should have another demo/tie in point on the floor beneath. Also, please advise if this portion of the work has to take place after hours, what exactly do these lines serve and how long can they be shut down?

4/8/2019 Disconnect pipes at penetration to roof and on floor below. Field verify/coordinate new penetration location in floor slab and pipe routing in ceiling space below. Core drill new penetrations after coordinating with existing structure and objects below. Disconnect piping on floor below, install new piping and reconnect to existing piping penetrating through roof. Coordinate work hours and equipment disruption with VA.

On the door schedule, doors A-01, A-02, A-09 are all to receive operators. However, doors A-02 and A-09 have door types that are not listed on the door schedule. Also, with the hardware schedule, doors A-02 and A-09 are listed to have one operator.

Is that a single operator on a double door? Or a dual operator on a double door? The size of these doors on the door schedule tell us they are double doors, but we are not sure which type of operator you would like. With Door A-01, the door schedule shows a single door panel, but the hardware schedule is calling for 2 operators.

4/8/2019 Door A-02 is door type A. Door A-09 is door type A. Provide one operator that works both doors (Doors A-02 and A-09).

Door A-01 is a single leaf and only 1 operator is required.
