About this file
This is a bid schedule for Construction Invitation to Bid No. 26-8703 issued by Collier County, Florida for the Immokalee Sports Complex Phase 1A & 1B Project. The project encompasses two phases of construction work organized into multiple divisions including procurement and contracting requirements, general requirements, concrete work, equipment installation, furnishings, special construction, earthworks, exterior improvements, and utilities. Phase 1A includes 58 line items encompassing survey and mobilization, tree and plant protection, concrete sidewalks and slabs (406 square yards), chain link fencing (2,200 linear feet), artificial turf field installation (2 fields), soft net backstops (6 units), bleachers, lighting maintenance painting (15 units), site clearing and erosion control, asphalt paving (507 square yards), irrigation systems covering over 182,000 square feet, landscaping with 26 canopy trees and 9 palm trees, and utility installations including fire hydrant, sanitary sewer connections, and stormwater drainage pipes ranging from 6 inches to 24 inches in diameter. Phase 1B includes 38 line items with similar scope elements plus a field restroom, storage, and pavilion structure (1,190 square feet building and 618 square foot pavilion), covering smaller quantities of fencing, concrete, and landscaping work. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on October 16 at 10:00 a.m. in Naples, Florida, with sealed bids due no later than November 2 at 3:00 p.m. local time. Prospective bidders were required to register on the Collier County procurement portal to obtain complete project documents.
All line items in the bid schedule are presented with zero dollar amounts, indicating this is a blank bid form for contractor pricing submission. The schedule includes two bid alternates for Phase 1A: an electric rolling gate with Knox Box (ALT-1) and a planting irrigation water treatment system (ALT-2), with contractors required to provide add-alternate pricing as part of their bids. Multiple total bid scenarios are provided including Phase 1A base bid, Phase 1A with alternates, Phase 1B base bid, and combined Phase 1A and 1B totals with various alternate combinations. Collier County has allocated a $500,000 Owner's Allowance for unforeseen conditions and work directed by the Owner, with expenditures to be made through change orders supported by proper documentation of time and materials. The allowance inclusion in the contract price does not guarantee payment of any portion of the full amount to the contractor.
