About this file
This document is an amendment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the State of Alaska, Department of Health, Division of Finance and Management Services, for the State of Alaska National Electronic Disease Surveillance System Base System (NBS) Interface, Application, and Development Support (RFP 2024-1600-0249/1624-020). The amendment provides answers to inquiries and corrects an administrative error in the RFP schedule. The RFP is seeking proposals from qualified parties for interface, application, and development support, with possible migration support, and possible hosting and related services, for the Alaska version of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Electronic Disease Surveillance System Base System. The deadline for receipt of proposals remains Wednesday, November 20, 2024, and the contract is expected to be issued on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
The RFP does not, by itself, obligate the State. The State's obligation will commence when the contract is approved by the Commissioner of the Department of Health or the Commissioner's designee. The RFP indicates that the security assessment must be incorporated into the proposed costs, and the intent to propose and non-disclosure agreement form referenced in the RFP is for reference only, not for submission with the proposal.

Question 2: Is the proposal due date still 11/20?
Answer: The deadline for receipt of proposals remains Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Note, however, the administrative correction above regarding the deadline for submission of questions.
