About this file
This is Amendment No. Two to RFP 2024-1600-0249/1624-020 from the State of Alaska Department of Health, Division of Finance and Management Services for the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System Base System (NBS) Interface, Application, and Development Support. The amendment, dated November 5, 2024, revises two sections of the RFP regarding the process for obtaining DOH HIPAA Security Assessment Controls/Assessment Questions List. The document requires offerors to sign and return the amendment page with their proposal to avoid rejection.
The amendment specifically modifies Sections 3.05 and 4.12 regarding the Intent to Propose and Nondisclosure Agreement requirements. The key change allows the procurement officer to provide the HIPAA Security Assessment Controls file via a secure file transfer site or other method, rather than exclusively through a secure file transfer site. Offerors must still complete and submit an Intent to Propose and Non-disclosure Agreement, provide contact information for the file recipient, and receive verification of eligibility before accessing the confidential materials. Section 4.12 is deleted entirely from the RFP.
