About this file
This is Amendment No. One to RFP 2024-1600-0249/1624-020 issued by the State of Alaska Department of Health, Division of Finance and Management Services for the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System Base System (NBS) Interface, Application, and Development Support. The amendment updates the RFP schedule with the following key dates: RFP Released on October 17, 2024; Questions Due by 12:00 p.m. on November 8, 2024; Proposals Due by 12:00 p.m. on November 20, 2024; Proposal Evaluations Complete by December 3, 2024; Notice of Intent to Award on December 6, 2024; and Contract Issued on December 17, 2024.
The amendment also clarifies two questions from potential offerors: 1) The form referenced in RFP Section 3.05 regarding Intent to Propose and Non-Disclosure Agreement is for reference only and does not need to be submitted with proposals, though offerors must incorporate security assessment costs into their proposed pricing per Section 4.11; and 2) Confirms the proposal due date remains November 20, 2024. The amendment requires signatures from submitting companies and must be returned with proposals to avoid rejection.

Note also that, per RFP Section 4.11, offerors must incorporate the security assessment into their proposed costs.
Question 2: Is the proposal due date still 11/20?
Answer: The deadline for receipt of proposals remains Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Note, however, the administrative correction above regarding the deadline for submission of questions.
