About this file
This document is a material distribution chart for the BF Sisk Safety of Dams (SOD) Modifications, Phase I federal contract opportunity issued by the Bureau of Reclamation within the Department of the Interior. The chart outlines the contractor's assumed quantities for excavated materials from the project site, as well as sources and quantities for materials to be placed. Key materials include 19,000 cubic yards of impervious fill, 3,100 cubic yards of common excavation for structures, 1,400 cubic yards of basalt hill quarry borrow, 1,200 cubic yards of miscellaneous fill, and 82 cubic yards each of gravel drain and crest sand filter materials. The chart provides descriptions and specifications quantities for excavation and placement items, notes on waste quantities and shrinkage factors, and requirements for contractors to obtain sufficient materials to account for waste and shrinkage.
