This project has a duration longer than 1 year. Is the contractor supposed to cover the cost for all 8 residents' meters, the museum, and the temporary facilities required?

The Construction Contractor is responsible for “temporary power” costs associated with this project.

Quarters 01 – 08 will be turned over vacant to the Construction Contractor upon Notice to Proceed – there is no anticipated meter draw at the residences during construction, particularly as scope includes new electrical service distribution laterals and meter bases at all 8 Residential Quarters. The Museum and systems shall remain energized for the duration of the project with exception of intermittent outages and change-overs necessitated by scope. The Construction Contractor is responsible only for temporary power costs associated with the Museum scope, but not general Museum metering costs.

9/8/2025

Specification Section 01 10 00 - Summary of Work paragraph 1.5.H states “establishment of a camp within the park will not be permitted.” Will temporary RV, or Campers be allowed at the staging area for Prime Contractor Staff ie Superintendent, QC Manager, Safety Manager?
