3. Information requested.
The Government requests interested offerors that can fully support this requirement furnish the following information:
1. Company name, UEI (Unique Entity ID) and Cage Code, address, points of contact, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
2. Information should include a brief description of experience in providing the type of support described above. The information package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request.
3. Identification of business size (small or large) and identify the socioeconomic disadvantaged category, as defined the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19 and also currently listed in the System for Award Management (SAM). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is conducting market research for sources who are an authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for Progressive Recovery Inc. capable of performing the services requested. The Foreign Disease-Weed Science Research Unit (FDWSRU) is in need of a Technician that can perform an annual inspection and certification of the Effluent Decontamination System (EDS) for processing liquid waste from a Biosafety Level 3 Plant Pathogen Containment Facility. The technician must have the following: appropriate skills, experience, complete knowledge of and familiarity with the system’s operations sequence and the architecture of the controls.
As part of its market research, USDA ARS is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes.
This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of USDA ARS market research. No Request For Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ.
Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which USDA ARS can issue any contract.
