About this opportunity
The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) is seeking contract(s) for Registry Staffing Services at the Arizona State Hospital, specifically targeting the recruitment of Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and Registered Nurses (RNs). This procurement opportunity, identified by the contract ID 67bc758de3e1a35e3e0974a2, is focused on supplementing the hospital's existing staffing resources with qualified healthcare professionals. The primary requirement is to provide approximately twenty (20) Registry BHTs per shift, with services to be delivered on an as-needed, if-needed basis. Contractors must demonstrate the ability to supply qualified staff across all shifts and meet the hospital's dynamic staffing requirements. The solicitation was posted on February 24, 2025, with proposal responses due by March 10, 2025, covering Maricopa County and specifically the Phoenix City jurisdiction. While the ADHS does not guarantee a specific volume of service utilization, they anticipate engaging multiple contractors to ensure a robust candidate pool for the facility's needs.
The contract opportunity does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. The procurement appears to be open to qualified staffing agencies capable of providing high-caliber healthcare professionals, with a strong emphasis on BHT and RN recruitment. No incumbent vendors are listed in the provided documentation, and there are no specified details about existing technological infrastructure requirements for integration. While a precise award value is not disclosed, the hospital's anticipated need for approximately twenty BHTs per shift suggests a potentially significant contract value. Interested contractors should focus on demonstrating their ability to consistently supply qualified Behavioral Health Technicians and Registered Nurses who can effectively support the Arizona State Hospital's patient care needs across various shifts and operational requirements.
Opportunity text
The objective is to secure contract(s) with Contractors qualified to provide Registry Staffing Services for the residents and patients at the Hospital not including ACPTC. The Contractor shall provide Registry Staffing Services that include the following: Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT), and Registered Nurses (RN), to the Hospital in accordance with the Scope of Work. Services will be on an as-needed, if-needed, basis at the request of the Hospital. The ADHS does not guarantee the use or volume of any Contract; however, based on historical need for Hospital services to supplement existing staffing resources, the Hospital anticipates the need for multiple contractors to ensure an adequate candidate pool is available to meet the needs of the facility. Although this Contract is applicable to BHTs, and RNs, the Hospital's primary need is specific for BHTs; at present, the Hospital requires approximately twenty (20) Registry BHTs per shift. The Contractor(s) shall provide qualified staff at a volume to meet the needs of the Hospital, regardless of day or shift.
