About this opportunity
The State of Maine is requesting quotes for the purchase of three Dell Inspiron 17R laptop computers, with quotes due November 23, 2010. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder based on best value considerations including quality, conformity with specifications, delivery date, and ultimate cost to the State.
The laptops must meet detailed technical specifications: Intel Core i5 460M processor at 2.53GHz, 6GB dual-channel DDR3 memory, 17.3-inch HD+ display at 1600×900 resolution, 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 video card, 500GB 5400RPM hard drive, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system, integrated 10/100 network connectivity, 1.3MP webcam, and Blu-Ray disc combo drive. Delivery is to 125 Kansas Road, Limestone, Maine 04750. All laptops must carry a three-year limited hardware warranty with in-home service following remote diagnosis. Bidders must submit complete model and specification information with their quotes.
Bid pricing must be all-inclusive unit prices delivered to destination, with freight and delivery charges included. The State of Maine is exempt from Federal and Maine State Sales and Use taxes; bidders must quote accordingly. All transportation charges must be prepaid by the contractor unless otherwise specified. Cash discounts of 20 days or more will be considered in low-bidder determination. The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and technicalities, increase or decrease quantities by 10%, and award based on factors serving the State's best interests. In cases of tied bids, preference is given to in-state bidders or those offering products manufactured in Maine.
Bidders must submit a Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, and Other Responsibility Matters with their quotes, certifying they are not debarred, suspended, or ineligible from Federal transactions and have no disqualifying criminal convictions, civil judgments, or public transaction terminations within the preceding three years. Bidders must also provide their legal company name, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. All inquiries must be directed to the State Purchasing Division. Award is contingent upon successful screening through the Federal Excluded Parties List System (EPLS).
