About this opportunity
Green County, Wisconsin is seeking a comprehensive procurement of Google Workspace Enterprise Platform and associated support services through a Request for Proposal (RFP) released on April 22, 2022. The county aims to transition from its current on-premises Exchange server and network file storage system to a cloud-based collaboration platform that enhances organizational communication and mobility. The procurement requires Google Workspace Enterprise Plus licensing for 550 users with a minimum three-year contract term, including implementation and conversion services from a Google-authorized vendor. Key objectives include improving organizational collaboration, increasing mobility, and modernizing the county's communication infrastructure. Critical deadlines include clarification questions due by May 6th, 2022 at 5:00 PM CST, proposal submissions due by May 13th, 2022 at 12:00 PM CST, and proposal opening scheduled for May 16th, 2022. Bidder presentations are planned between May 23rd and May 27th, 2022, with an anticipated award by June 30th, 2022, subject to Green County Board of Supervisors approval. Vendor evaluation criteria will focus on demonstrated expertise supporting Google Workspace Enterprise Plus environments, proven conversion experience from Microsoft Exchange on-premises systems, and capacity to provide 24/7/365 general support.
The RFP does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent organizations. The contract will consist of three primary cost components: Google Workspace licensing costs, support and maintenance costs, and implementation/conversion costs, with bidders required to clearly identify the total initial project cost. The licensing contract will have an initial three-year term with optional one-year renewals, while the support and maintenance contract will run for one year with optional annual renewals. Proposals must be submitted in a signed, sealed, and properly executed envelope and will remain open for acceptance for 90 days following the RFP closing date. The county reserves the right to declare proposals unacceptable if they are late, unsigned, improperly executed, conditional, illegible, or contain arithmetical errors. While specific budget ranges are not detailed in the available documentation, the scope suggests a significant investment in enterprise-level cloud collaboration technology for 550 users, indicating a potentially substantial contract value.
