About this opportunity

This procurement has been cancelled. The Georgia Department of Revenue posted RFP 47400-DOR0000102 on May 21, 2020, with proposals due June 4, 2020, but cancelled the solicitation by notice dated March 12, 2021, after receiving responses that failed to yield viable results.

The Department had sought two integrated services: continuation of support and maintenance for the Pitney Bowes Universal Address Module for postal address validation, including subscription to US address updates from an authorized Pitney Bowes supplier; and a separate supplier to provide a Streamlined Sales Tax (SST) boundary file using an address-based approach on a quarterly basis, delivered no later than 10 business days prior to the end of the second month of each quarter. The SST boundary file requirement stems from Section 302 of the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement (SSUTA), which mandates that member states provide the Streamlined Sales Tax Governing Board with such a file. The Department determined that further development of requirements and direction was necessary to achieve a successful outcome. Interested suppliers should monitor the Procurement Registry for any future offerings related to this or similar services. The issuing officer was Vanessa Walker, Agency Procurement Officer, at vanessa.walker@dor.ga.gov.
