About this file
This is a Pricing Schedule for Amendment 0003 of a lock foundation and site preparation construction project for Lock and Dam 25. The schedule requires contractors to provide unit prices and extended amounts for all base and optional line items. The base schedule encompasses 19 line items divided into two categories: Site Preparation (items 0001-0006) and Lock Foundation (items 0007-0019). Site preparation work includes mobilization/demobilization, erosion and sediment control, staging area fill (65,000 cubic yards), rip rap slope protection, sanitary outfall pipe installation, and land-based site work. Lock foundation work includes deflector wall installation, steel pipe piles (330 linear feet of 48-inch diameter), separator wall furnishing (80,720 square feet) and installation (24,050 square feet), articulating fabric formed concrete mattress, dredge material placement (145,000 cubic yards total with tiered quantities), alluvium excavation (25,000 cubic yards), rip rap excavation (47,500 cubic yards with tiered quantities), and placement of various stone scour protection materials (41,250 tons total). The optional schedule (Option 1) includes three line items for assist vessel mobilization/demobilization, 90-day vessel assistance, and 30-day vessel standby.
Contractors must submit unit prices and extended amounts for all items, with the government retaining the right to determine unit prices by dividing total quoted prices by estimated quantities if only lump sum amounts are provided. All quantities are estimated except those designated as "JOB." The pricing schedule notes specify that extensions will be verified by the government, unit prices take precedence over extensions in case of variation, and failure to submit prices on all items constitutes good cause for proposal disqualification. Optional line items (1001-1003) will only be performed when directed by the Contracting Officer, and payment is made solely for work actually requested and performed to the government's satisfaction. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is the contracting agency, and proposals should be submitted via email to Angie Grimes and Whitney Dee.

PRICING SCHEDULE NOTES
1. All quantities shown on the PRICING SCHEDULE are estimated quantities except when the unit is shown as job "JOB".
2. When proposals are solicited on a unit price basis, offerors shall insert in the spaces provided therefore in the SCHEDULE both the "unit price" and the "estimated amount" resulting from applying the said unit price to the estimated quantity shown. In event the offeror quotes only a total price ("estimated amount") in its bid and fails to quote the unit price, the Government will determine such unit price by dividing the total price quoted by the quantity of the item set out in the SCHEDULE. The offeror agrees that the unit price so determined shall be used for the purpose of price evaluation, award and all payments to the Contractor including final payment.
3. All extensions of the unit prices shown will be subject to verification by the Government. In case of variation between the unit price and the extension, the unit price will be considered to be the offer and the extension will be corrected accordingly.
4. If a modification to a proposal based on unit prices is submitted, which provides for a lump sum adjustment to the total estimated cost, the application of the lump sum adjustment to each unit price in the price schedule must be stated. If it is not stated, the offeror agrees that the lump sum adjustment shall be applied on a pro rata basis to every unit price in the price schedule.
5. Offerors are required to submit a price on all items listed on the Pricing Schedule in addition to inserting a total quoted price in the appropriate space provided. Failure to do so will be considered good cause to disqualify the proposal.
6. OPTIONAL LINE ITEMS. Line Item Nos. 1001 through 1003 are OPTIONAL ITEMS. Upon the review of inspection at the site, the Contracting Officer, in accordance with the specifications and drawings, will direct the optional line item work as needed. The Contractor shall perform the appropriate work ONLY when directed by the Contracting Officer. The Government is not obligated to request any work under any optional item(s). The prices for each optional item shall represent your firm price to perform that service. Payment will be made ONLY for work actually requested and performed to the Government’s satisfaction.
Optional work is detailed in Specification Section 00 08 00.
