Renovation services include upgrading office spaces, classrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and installing a new HVAC system, electrical work, windows/doors, communications systems, and fire suppression/alarm system. The scope also involves constructing a 2,300 square foot dual-use alert facility, and supporting facilities for the renovation. The contract duration is 365 days after notice to proceed. Corbin Russwin locks and keying systems are brand name specific due to compatibility with existing systems at the 185th ARW.

Questions and Answers v1
Q1. Multiple contractors have submitted questions and expressed concerns regarding how to obtain access to the controlled documents on SAM.gov.
A1. Contractors should get instructions for accessing the documents once they have requested it through SAM. This includes submitting a DD2345 to DLA to get into the Joint Certification Program (JCP). See the DLA's website at https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/ where there are additional instructions.
Due to time constraints, the bid opening cannot be delayed. In order to ensure Contractors have plans and specifications in time to submit a bid, a new Attachment 5 with instructions to request plans and specifications has been uploaded to the Contract Opportunities posting on SAM.gov.
