W912EK24R0002 - Coralville Lake Ranger Building and Admin Repairs 26 September 2023
Question ID Contractor Question USACE Answer
I am looking to get a set of plans for this project coming up. Please let me know how & where.
As a two-phase design-build requirement, a set of construction plans will not be developed by USACE for this project. A more detailed Scope of Work is pending and will be posted to SAM.gov when complete as part of the Phase two requirements package.
For Volume 2 Specialized Experience, is the maximum number of projects that can be included four (4) per building type for a total of eight (8)?
No.
A maximum of four (4) total projects can be included in an Offeror's Volume 2 Specialized Experience submission.
NOTE - There is a minimum of one (1) each project for each facility type(s) or their equivalent, similar commercial or institutional type:
Renovation of Administrative Office and Visitor Center, New Construction of a Garage with Storage.
We are putting together a proposal for geotechnical and materials testing/inspection services for a design-build contractor to include in their bid for the Coralville Lake Ranger Building and Admin Repairs project.
Since USACE is the property owner, we are wondering, will a formal workplan be required and/or will there be any permitting requirements for the geotechnical drilling for the project?
All applicable local, state, and federal permits will be required for planned work to include permitting.
Workplans will be required.
