NOTICE OF VIRTUAL INDUSTRY/ACADEMIA DAYS
BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT
TEST & EVALUATION/SCIENCE &TECHNOLOGY (T&E/S&T)
The Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) in conjunction with U.S. Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) and Army Contracting Command-Orlando(ACC-O) will host a web-based industry/academia forum in support of the TRMC Test & Evaluation/Science & Technology (T&E/S&T) Program’s Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) (Reference: SAM.GOV, Number: W900KK-22-R-0012). The intent of the industry/academia forum is to provide information to interested parties regarding the administrative processes for participating in announced opportunities from the recently released BAA. This BAA will utilize unique ways to iteratively communicate research topics over the duration of the five-year BAA lifespan. These topics address priority areas in technology development that prevent current capability development for the systems that perform test and evaluation functions for the Department of Defense. The event includes a web-based forum on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 and one-on-one sessions (as available) on Wednesday and Thursday, April 6-7, 2022.
The industry forum will consist of Opening and Welcoming Remarks from TRMC, ACC-O and PEO STRI, PM CT2-IMO, a briefing to industry/academia partners pertaining to the newly released BAA, a briefing from the Executing Agents (EAs) for Directed Energy Test (DET) and Electronic Warfare Test (EWT) technology area teams to discuss their announced research topics in context with the scenarios for their needs. Questions via chat will be supported in each of these three sessions.
INDUSTRY/ACADEMIA FORUM
The industry/academia briefings are scheduled for April 5, 2022. Note that participants are encouraged to join the session using the browser option, NOT the desktop app based on non-Government feedback. Internet Explorer is NOT compatible.
Due to the forum using a virtual format, all attendees are requested to join the meeting beginning at 12:00 PM in order to ensure attendance issues are resolved prior to commencement of the session. The session will commence at 12:30. Those not in the session in advance may not be supported in doing so after the session commences. The briefings will begin at 12:30 PM through 3:30 PM and consist of an UNCLASSIFIED, releasable to the public overview of the BAA acquisition processes and test technology topic shortfalls for DET and EWT. The briefings will be recorded.
Please note that registration is NOT required for attendance of the web-based industry Day.
The Industry/Academia Forum will be conducted under an MS TEAM LIVE EVENT PUBLIC virtual meeting. This is accessible for anyone having access to the following link: <<link currently unavailable; this will be updated NLT April 1, 2022>>
